Draconia woke up that morning excited, she was going to practice powerful
magic with her teacher Tyelle. She cleaned herself up and made sure her
scales where all shiny. Then, in a spiralling column of dragon flame, she
vanished, only to reappear outside Tyelles' door.
She knocked on the door and waited patently for an answer. A few minutes
went by and she knocked again, her tail swishing anxiously behind her.
From inside the door, Tyelle's voice could be heard, calling out to hold
on.
He opened up the door, and was a bit surprised at the 8' tall dragoness
at his door. Tyelle looked half asleep as he had just gotten out of bed,
he looked up at her and asked why she was here. She reminded him of the
lesson.
Tye nodded and let her in, then went back to his room and promptly
fell asleep again. Draconia giggled and curled up on the floor and waited
for him to wake up.
A little while later Tye finally woke up on his own, cleaned up and
walked out to the main room, a bit surprised to see Draconia lightly napping
in the center of the room. He scratched his head and went over and lightly
nudged her.
"Draconia, time to wake up." She yawned and stretched out and smiled
at Tyelle. "I see you finally woke up" she said with a grin. He nodded,
still a bit confused. "When did you get here?" he asked with a confused
look on his face.
Draconia giggled. "I got here some time ago, you let me in yourself.
You know I do not come in uninvited." Tyelle nodded, not remembering letting
her in, but didn't argue. "So, you are ready for more lessons, huh?" Draconia
nodded and smiled.
Soon they where practicing magic outside as to not destroy the apartment.
Tyelle decided to use a flame attack to see how she would counteract it.
She instinctively took a deep breath and used her fire breath.
This surprised Tyelle who knew mixing dragon fire and magic can be
very dangerous. Indeed, as the fire mixed, it swirled around Draconia.
She panicked and tried to use her magic to get rid if it, but when her
magic fused with the fire it made a portal to another place,
which she promptly fell through. Tyelle watched in horror as the portal
closed as quickly as it appeared, leaving no trace anything was ever there.
As for Draconia, she appeared suddenly in an ocean. This ocean was different
though, it was black and highly polluted with all sorts of toxins. But
all this was unknown to Draconia, whose only thought was to get up to the
surface.
She struggled to get to the surface and managed to get quite a bit
of water in her before she finally broke the surface, gasping for air.
Once she got used to the heavy air she looked around to see where she was.
The sky was an odd shade of aqua blue, and there where also 2 suns
in the sky, but unfortunately no land in sight. She treaded and tried to
think of how to reach land.
Flying was out of the question as there wasn't enough room to flap.
She thought about what to do, and eventually figured out if she spread
her wings and laid on her back she would just float there and conserve
energy.
She had no idea how long it was till sunset so she decided to take
a nap; resting her head on her scaled belly, she drifted off thinking about
Tyelle and home. When she finally awoke, the 2nd sun had started to sink
below the horizon.
She then got the idea to follow the sun's path. So she set out and
swam and swam. Soon the moon rose, and what a sight it was. It filled over
half the sky and was a odd shade of red.
She gazed up at the moon and wondered what would become of her. She
decided to put her worries aside and keep going. She swam until she was
exhausted and laid on her back and went to sleep.
This went on for quite a while, with no living creatures but herself
in the sea. She had to drink the water to fill herself. She lost track
of time long ago, she had no idea how long it had been since
she first came here. Finally she was about to give up, she went to
sleep as usual. But unknown to her, as she slept the tide washed her ashore
onto a deserted beach. As the 2 suns rose, she woke to find herself on
dry land.
She got up and was a bit weak from being in the water so long. She
decided to sit down and try to clean herself up as the water had discolored
her scales. But as she dried off, the color changed from feint green to
a more
permanent aqua green. No matter how hard she tried, the color would
not go away. She finally got her strength back and walked up the beach
to find a deserted city.
It looked like it was abandoned ages ago. Draconia had no idea why
such a place could have been just left. She decided to explore the city,
calling out to see if anyone was there.
Stages of becoming a slime: 1st sign: body becomes cool to the touch, no matter how warm it is outside.
2nd sign: body becomes soft like jello, but not as easily punctured. She's still flesh and blood at this point. Body is quite cool to the touch, like just coming out of a refrigerator.
3rd sign: at certain light angles, her body becomes transparent, and
you are able to see the bones in her body. By now, she no longer has internal
organs
and such, just the soft flesh outside with slime inside with solid
bones. Even and transparent, but the texture of the scales is still visible.
4th sign: Flesh gives way to transparent slime. Wings, tail, headstalls,
horns, frills and digits like toes and fingers are all gone leaving he
body
streamlined. Body easy penetrated by objects, which will dissolve,
feeding her. No more legs either, having no bones to support the weight
her body
would basically collaps in on its self. (or one could just say a streamline
dragon) (undicided at this poit in time)
5th sign: Starts getting smaller, more compact most the the bones start
to become slime. Her openings, like nose, mouth and cloaca seal up, appendages
like arms legs, head and neck all merge with her body leaving only a simple
organism with a brain and a few vertebra spaced apart floating at the
top.
